The Ambassador program was established as a coalition of business professionals who act as representatives of the Somerset-Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce within the business community. 

The Chamber Ambassadors are an all volunteer group of men and women comprised of chamber members who serve as the “good will” arm of the chamber charged with extending the hand of friendship to new and established members alike.

The Ambassadors promote retention by making good will calls, assisting with ribbon cuttings, welcoming new members, and attending other chamber events and functions.  The Chamber relies on the Ambassadors to aid in relying vital information to and from the membership, identifying member concerns and garnering support for the chamber.

This year, Ms. Cheryl McCrarey, representing Citizens Bank was selected as the 2008 Ambassador of the Year.
